How Our Courses Work

Our courses are text-based and include helpful photos, charts, tables and illustrations, with a few having small video clips. Each course is divided into several chapters called modules. Most modules have quizzes at the end, and some courses feature non-graded "Interim Quizzes" so you can check your learning progress. States require a passing grade of 70% in all modules to attain certification credit. Quiz questions feature a variety of formats: True/False, Multiple Choice, Multiple Response, and Drop-down Menu choice questions.
Students can log-in and log-out of the courses as often as needed. Our Learning Management System (LMS) tracks courses taken and the scores in each module as well as registration information. Students can access their courses from any computer meeting system requirements.
